I can honestly say, with no hesitation or uncertainty, that shooting with Molly has been one of the best decisions I ever made. I had spent my entire life fighting with my body, angry at my body, battling my body and constantly trying to change my body. I wanted a different view and Molly gave me just that. I remember stalking her Instagram for years thinking “one day when I lose weight” and then read her sweet words on a post saying “there is no other time but the present to love yourself” and just knew I had to. The gift of seeing my body, from her camera, with all the love and support and encouragement that she pours into every session is a gift that I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully describe. My first session with her catapulted me into a different season; one where I stopped fighting with my body and just felt love for all that it is.

My name is Molly (though you know me as Misty Moss – my burlesque alter ego). I am your CEO (Chief Empowerment Officer) behind Moss Photography.
I started this business over 8 years ago because I was furious at how this society had taught us to hate our bodies, to be distracted with learned negative beliefs about our bods – instead of revelling in the joy of being present in our bodies, of experience life at its fullest with our beautiful bods. I made it my mission to unlearn all that inner bullsh*t, to strive for self-liberation and rewrite my body story – and help others do the same.
8 years and over a thousand clients later – here we are.
Here YOU are. You are here on this web page for a reason: because you deserve more than limiting beliefs about your body. You deserve to find liberation and joy being in your body, to come home to yourself, and to rewrite your body story.
It was very meaningful to me that you accepted me exactly where I was at. You didn’t try to convince me that my body was okay just the way it is. You allowed me to have my insecurities all while encouraging me to push myself beyond those insecurities. I think that’s a rare ability. You respected the things that I didn’t like about myself and that I didn’t want to see in the pictures. You never made me feel lesser than for not liking things about myself.. I appreciate that so much. I think this is maybe the most meaningful part of the entire experience for me. That it’s okay for me to be just the way I am, I can be beautiful and insecure at the same time.
